3 Effective Money Saving Ideas

As the first post on this blog I decided to bring in some solid tips for the first time readers of this blog. Well, today I'll be sharing 3 highly effective money saving ideas which shall teach you how to save money. Before moving any forward, I must make one thing clear: One can only save money if he can attain a control over his spending on leisure activities and other things.

If you cannot maintain a control over your self then there is no power of the world which can help you save money. However, how to save money is the bigger aspect in saving and it is what I'll be teaching. Read each point thoroughly and prepare to put them into practice to see results in terms of saved money.

  1. Cut on bills to save money: The first and foremost part where you can achieve success in saving money is cutting on bills. By that I mean trying to reduce your usage of electricity and gas. Although it might seem a little impossible at first but remember that money is easier to save when you're doing so in small amounts which eventually add up. So try to do small things to save electricity such as switching off the television when you're done watching instead of putting it on stand-by. Reducing your electricity bill by even 10% can save you some money by the end of year.
  2. Saving money in money boxes: Basically what you do is put about 3-4 money boxes around the house. Whenever you walk past one, just go through your pocket and empty ny coins you have in it and make sure that the money box is locked. Whenever you find coins on the floor or couches just put it into that box. You should be able to at least $50 at the end of the month in these boxes.
  3. Save amounts of money everyday: So what you can do is that instead of cutting a big part of the money in your pocket try to keep a routine of saving small amounts of money. This also keeps the burden of saving money off your back because you usually have small amounts of money to help you. You could start with $1 a day and keep this going everyday, by the end of the year you'll have an easy $365 saved without involving all the hassle. If you find that easy then you can think of saving about $10 a day in this way and you'll be able to save more than $3500 in a year, enough to buy you a new car.
So as you can see, saving money is not a tough job provided that you do it in the right way. The points above are a little brief and I'll post soon to further elaborate these ways and discuss more to help you in learning how to save money.
